VP.Start at The Workshop, RUPP Distinguished Talk on Materials for the Future: Shaping Science, Technology, and Society!

Today we at VP.Start and our country, Cambodia, had the rare opportunity to welcome, Konstantin Novoselov, the Nobel Prize winner in Physics for 2010 to RUPP.

Dr. Novoselov is involved in nanoscience and research on exceedingly small materials. 
Dr. Novoselov discovered a nanomaterial called Graphene.

Graphene is
- incredibly small (one atom in width)
- incredibly strong (more than steel)
- incredibly lightweight (less than paper)
and
- incredibly electrically conductive.

Nowadays Graphene plays a major role in
computers that are faster,
batteries that are more powerful 
and screens that are more flexible.

VP.Start is staying on top of the latest technological advancements, like Graphene, as part of our SIMA Journey to a more sustainable world.
