VP.Start Completes Successful Installation and Commissioning of SIMA Smart Grid Solutions for EDC Siem Reap

VP.Start’s engineers successfully completed the installation and commissioning of SIMA Smart Grid solutions for Électricité du Cambodge (EDC) in Siem Reap Province on October 23, 2026, working closely with EDC’s local engineering team.

The project was successfully implemented at the designated locations, enabling electricity operators to monitor and manage the distribution network through the SIMA Smart Grid system.

During the on-site mission, both engineering teams conducted technical evaluations to assess the system’s performance following integration with existing electrical equipment and verify compliance with EDC’s established technical standards.

The implementation of SIMA Smart Grid introduces a more intelligent, digital, and data-driven approach to electricity network management. By improving network management and operational efficiency, the solution supports more reliable power distribution, helps identify possible energy losses, and promotes more efficient energy management.
