VP.Start is fortunate to attend the workshop of Smart City Action Plan for Preah Sihanouk Province and having a brilliant opportunity to unveiled our eco-sustainability systems.
What is a Smart City?
What is the Key Foundation of a Smart City?
You might think that a smart city consists of smart security cameras, smart traffic lights, smart waste management, smart street lighting, smart parking systems, IoT devices, and so on. You may also imagine a smart city as one where everything is interconnected, with remote control and automation systems, creating a modern urban environment that makes people’s lives more comfortable, secure, and connected.
Yes, that’s not wrong, but at VP.Start, we think beyond that.
Before we can create a smart city, firstly we need to “think smart.”
What does this mean?
For example, what would it be if transforming an entire city into a smart city with a budget of 100 million versus just 5 million?
What would it be if using cutting-edge technology that enable to reduce operational costs and improve cost efficiency?
What would it be if the solutions we use can make a city more connected, reliable, and sustainable?
Smart city is talking about data that is a key for everything. The solutions mentioned above are merely tools—tools designed to collect data, streamline operations, and more. A wide range of data from a city enables advanced analytics, which can unlock opportunities to reduce costs and waste, optimize decision-making, and improve risk forecasting.
With over 10 years of experience, we have developed eco-sustainability systems that transform traditional grids into advanced smart grid systems. These systems simplify the complexity of operational management, reduce operational costs, and deliver game-changing cost efficiency for utilities.
Without a reliable grid, there can be no smart city.
Our next mission is to bring Big Data to real picture through data-driven solutions. We are ready to harness this incredible power to build a brighter, smarter future.
