The Training Low Voltage Management System (LMS) for LVDB

VP.Start provided a training course to expert engineers from Electricité du Cambodge (EDC) on how to use and operate the Low Voltage Management System (LMS) for LVDB. The training focused on how LMS addresses challenges in managing LVDB and transformer including the ability to monitor real-time data for every feeder on both LVDB and transformer. This eliminates the need for operators to manually inspect equipment on-site anymore. Additionally, LMS provides instant alarm notifications for overcurrent and overtemperature conditions in LVDB and transformer, enabling operators to analyze the issues promptly, reduce energy losses, and prevent potential fire.

LMS also delivers real-time data on phase unbalancing for each feeder in both transformer and LVDB. That accurate data is crucial for engineers to assess power quality and easy to make a quick decision such as adding additional load for new consumers when necessary.

By using LMS, LVDB and transformer are transformed into digitally operated systems, enhancing efficiency and reliability in power distribution.
